After keeping fans waiting for months, rising American pop starlet Sabrina Carpenter released a new song called “things I wish you said” on the deluxe edition of her most recent album, “emails I can’t send.”
According to NME, the first album came out last summer. Her best-known songs are on it, like “Because I Loved a Guy” and “Nonesense.” This was the artist’s first album that Disney’s Hollywood Records didn’t distribute.
Monday, the musician showed off the deluxe edition on her official Instagram page. She also said, “Hey, email girl! Please accept these few new songs as a small thank you to everyone who found a little bit of themselves in this album.”
She said a lot has happened since then, so she can’t give up on her most recent musical phase. She will keep writing new songs instead.
Carpenter said the new album is not a sequel but a collection of songs from her current time.
On March 17, fans who want to hear the Disney star’s new songs can buy the “emails I can’t send” deluxe edition this week.
Carpenter has only omitted the names of the four songs she added to the original 13-song album.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was her first job in the entertainment business. She also had a recurring part in The Goodwin Games, a Fox comedy that ran for three months.
